A strong bond between an owner and their dog can be the “make or break” of any relationship. In order to build up your bond, you start with training.
By implementing daily training tasks in your dogs day to day life, you’ll be seen as a high value item to them. With lots of repetition and consistency, your dog will be looking to you for direction, rather than making their own choices (which most of the time, aren’t good ones!)
A major problem we run into is a lack of impulse control, which stems from not having proper tasks to do. This results in our furry friends making their own tasks such as barking, jumping and lunging at everyone who would walk by.
We work with these unique traits for each dog by creating structure for a regular training regime that addresses these impulses.
Once you’ve finished training, it is essential that you continue these practices. Training helps to build confidence within your dog, as well as maintain the bond you’ve built between one another.
Often times we don’t give our dogs enough credit- they’re not the robots we think they are. They need to be worked and challenged everyday; some more than others. Enabling them to live their best lives.

Private Lessons
We offer personalized "Private Dog Training" sessions to help you and your pup with any obedience or behavioral concerns. Our trainers will meet with you and your dog to target areas of training that are most important to you. We provide a flexible schedule and you can choose to have us come to your home or use one of our training sites.

Board and Train
For pet owners who don't have a lot of time on their hands, our Board and Train canine training program is ideal. This inclusive program involves boarding your pup in one of our specialist training centers, where they will get daily one-on-one training.
This program is suitable for all ages and breeds of dogs, so it doesn't matter if you're the proud owner of a puppy or a mature pooch, our Board and Train program can assist in creating a well-trained companion.

At Adaptive Canine Training, we take a balanced approach to dog training. We were seeing dogs being turned away from other companies because they were too aggressive or too much energy to handle. And we wanted to be able to provide a more dynamic training option for our clients, as opposed to a cookie cutter approach, so that you can reach that desired outcome.
